Is there any way to filter tax returns where the dependents are 17 years old at the end of the previous tax year? This filter would prompt me to file NIL returns for them in order to get on the quarterly GST rebate list.

I seem to have missed one for 2017, and for 2018 it is even more important to file because they qualify for the Climate Action Incentive (Manitoba) as well.

You cannot collect GST until you are 19 years old. CRA would catch any changes to your tax return immediately,

You CAN get GST/HST credits if you are under 19 years old. But you have to also apply for the CCB and/or file as married.
