Hi All, I filed a QDT back on March 31st and still have yet to receive a notice of assessment. On Rep a client, the 2024 return still shows “Not Received” despite having confirmation that the Efile transmission was accepted (both from Taxcycle and from my Efile login). Now that we are approaching this year end, the client is trying to do tax planning based on the CRA accepting the trust as a QDT. Is anyone else still waiting for Trust assessments? I am having a slight panic that perhaps the QDT election got lost in our unreliable mail service. I wish these elections could be filed electronically.
