Is it possible to import T1s from Visual Tax when switching to Taxcycle?
I did some years ago. I believe there is still the option available.
They did when I changed over in 2017, but I believe they don’t anymore.
Carry Forward Prior-Year Returns - TaxCycle.
But I would change anyway. The functionally in Tax Cycle is way better. Error messages for example; support, etc.
So happy I changed.
Visual Tax was good for the price but I would not go back.
Anybody switched recently?
Taxcycle - is there any way to convert these files into your software ?
I switched just this year. There in NO way to covert your Visual Tax files to Tax Cycle. I thought it would be a ton of work but if you can use autofill for your clients all you really need to do is enter the name, address, and SIN#. Auto-fill will enter all the carryforwards.
I was happy with Visual Tax but started using Tax Folder. Since Tax Folder can be integrated with Tax Cycle it saved me a ton of time.
