Is anyone else having this issue where the totals are not totaling on this summary? My software is updated to the most recent version. I really like the “2YearClient” report and in all my files that I carry forward, the totals are not totaling. If I right click and select “refresh carryfoward”, it corrects itself, but often times, I have deleted things that needed to be deleted (slips that they don’t have this year, etc.) and then have to go re-do that, so would rather not have to do this. I’m trying to remember to refresh the carryforward before starting the file, but I don’t always remember…any other tips to get this form to total?? Odd that it’s not working on the carryforward…
On the 5 Yr Summary or 5 Yr Short, are the “Calculate Totals” checkbox at the top left hand corner of the screen enabled? It needs to be check in order for any changes in the totals to calculate. Once that box is checked, I’ve never had issues with totals not tabulating.
I appreciate you reminding me about the “Refresh Carry-forward” option. I had totally forgotten about that and have been updating the 5 Yr summaries manually. So thank you.
Yup… I have found if I go to 5 year summary and click on the calculate totals at the top… it magically calculates all the totals on the 2Year report.
Seriously hoping this is fixed as it is a pain in the XXX. But not my worst nightmare.
Before Xero bought Taxcycle these types of errors never happened.
Bigger fish to fry is the CRA mess-up.
My wasted time explaining to clients… no I do not have your slips online that you do not have in paper format AND no I cannot file your return as you have a slip that populates on Sch 3 and that is excluded form filing at the moment.
Seriously starting to freak out…how in the livin heck am I going to file all these returns in such a short time when the systems finally accept filing ???
Goodness, I even thought “why can’t there be a button like on the 5 year summary”, I never thought to go click it!
