TaxFolder email

how could i see the email that will be sent to client when I request an approval from my client on a form from taxcycle through taxfolder

To view the email before it is sent, open the Template Editor and type email in the search bar on the top left side.

Select the template you want to view to display the contents.

If it was already sent…in TaxFolder, navigate to the client engagement. In the menu next to the document select “Edit Fields”.

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you will see the email template that was sent with the request.

Is this option to see the email that was sent still available? For the life of me I can’t find the “Edit Fields” section of TaxFolder…could you perhaps please post another screenshot, with more showing to help me see where I should be looking for it? Thanks!

Yes, we updated the menu so this is now shown as “Edit Request” and will show what email message was included when the request was last sent.

I finally figured out why I couldn’t find that menu you posted above, Sarka - it seems that it disappears once the client signs, and doesn’t seem to be any record anymore of what info was in the email sent.

Also, looks like that option is only in the signature section, so if I send something with “Share Documents” instead of for signature, I have zero record of what message went to the client.

Would be fabulous to have an option to blind copy myself sometimes…for certain signed files, I sometimes need to send additional info to the client in a message, and would be good to be able to have a copy of it (like the message section of an e-courier package).
