T1032 Optimization Savings using Absolute Value

Good morning - I noticed this before, but never thought to bring it up until I was doing planning for non-tax reasons for a client.

T1032 Optimization screen is showing the Absolute Value as Combined Tax Savings, when in reality it is not a saving, but a cost. For example, in the image below - the optimization is saving $92.20 (which is correct) - but if I do an Alternate Election amount - the amount shows as being identical.
However it isn’t savings, it is actually a reduction in savings by the opposite amount. Notice the “Joint balance owing/refund” numbers and then the Tax Savings number below.

If the formula is unable to be changed from an Absolute formula for that box, then is it possible to have a flag on the “Joint Balance Owing/Refund” then that says “this amount results in less of a benefit (more tax owing) than doing no election”
