Curious to know if there’s a way to ensure that the wording on a Final Return reflects the proper tense? Any template we have uses an improper tense - i.e. it implies that the client is still living. It would be good to know if there’s a setting that we can apply to ensure all communications speak clearly to the client’s living status.
Have you tried the DLetter (Deceased Client Letter) that becomes available when you create a return for a deceased taxpayer? This letter is addressed to the estate.
There is also the DELetter - Deceased engagement Letter which pulls in the Legal Representative in death info as does the DLetter referenced above.
