T1 Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit info previously setup is not carrying forward.

T1 client asked where his refund was. Assessment says was direct deposited May 11. Not there.
CRA, after long research, says his DD data was scrubbed, therefore the direct deposit failed. They’re issuing cheque- 10 day wait.
No idea how or why it was scrubbed.
Earlier this year DD failed, cheque issued same day.
