Just a heads up I had a number of review letters I just discovered starting a week or so ago.
I had no notification of such I just happened to click on mail to discover them.
I’ve had some (10?), especially for large client medical expenses. They’ve all been pretty easy to answer. The letter for one of the first one’s went into extreme depth outlining what information they needed and what they would not accept. That was the only one like that. All others are similar to the version in prior years.
Did you receive notification that you had mail? I didn’t. Nor did I have the lttle red marker to indicate unread mail.
I believe, @Arliss, that I was notified on 2 of the roughly 10 I’ve received so far for 2025 T1’s. I have a habit of checking my mail on RAC because I still have about 6 processing reviews from Sep-Dec '25 that CRA is mulling over, or putting through the shredder.
Anybody else seeing major uptick in t5018 reviews and investigations and CR- attempting to give $2500 penalties on those t5018 fir years 2015-2025 submissions
Seen huge update in my clients in last 2 weeks - very aggressive with no cause from missing 2022-2025 forms - just jumping to 2015 - 11 years with no cause but they say they didn’t receive the mauled in turns - they started accepting online submissions 2019
And you guilty untill u pull up the timestamps on when the firms were created and save in my backups - nasty
