I suggest when clicking on "to “see more” to have the text in black instead of blue and the TC Icon removed, this would make it a lot easier to find files and would remove unnecessary space, subsequently easier to display more files.

Is the issue that you’re accidentally clicking on the icon and not the “more” link?
I’m also assuming you’re aware that you can click ont he Recent tab at any time to open the sidebar?
