The Ontario Electricity Rebate (“OER”) provides eligible customers with a 19.3% reduction on the amount of their bill before HST (O. Reg 363/16), as of November 1, 2023.

  • Room in home used exclusively for business
  • Invoice from utility company has Ontario Electricity Rebate

T2125 under Calculating business-use-of-home I inputted:

  • area used for business
  • total area of home

For Electricity - entered invoice amount less Ontario Electricity Rebate.
