MS Office 2010 and MS Office 2016 for Mac updates and support is scheduled to end 2020-10-13 despite recommendations to the contrary by the current support teams.
Office 2016/Mac and Office 2010/Windows will still work but will gradually become less secure and unable to link to changing online services.
Might want to join Office 365 or soon-to-be Microsoft 365

Thanks for your comment. Of course, it is much better to up to date with Office 2019 and the newly renamed Microsoft 365 for Windows. However, this note was intended as a heads up for benefit of those with legacy systems and legacy software.
