I’m trying to think of ways to cut down on paper. Is it possible to take in person e-signatures using a signature pad? If not, it’s a product suggestion 
Why can’t you email the client while they are in the office and have them e-sign
That’s what I have done to work on limiting paper

In addition to the above suggestion, you can also use any electronic signature platform to generate the request while in office and help the client through the process. This will give you a signed certificate and if you are using DocuSign or TaxFolder will track the signature in your TaxCycle file for you. There is currently no direct method for obtaining a signature in TaxCycle with a locally connected device. If it is something you want, please post in the Product suggestions category. This is where we monitor suggestions and community interest based on votes and other feedback.
I’ve been using TaxFolder all along. I was given a signature pad and was just hoping I could use it for in-person signatures without all the extra steps and account creation involved in TaxFolder or any other platform.
Some clients just aren’t interested in using anything like that even if I help them set it up in the office (I’ve offered).
I’ll just give it to someone else.
