How to efile T3010?

I called TaxCycle last week to add on the T3010 module and the person I spoke with told me that for 2025 returns, they can be efiled. I now have the return complete (June 30, 2025 YE) and can’t find an option to efile. Even CRA doesn’t show TaxCycle as eligible for e-filing. Was I mis-informed? Did I just waste money on this software if I want to file digitally or is there another option other than re-creating the entire return in CRA represent a client? (it’s a new charity, so it won’t be pre-populated from last year).

I have filed many T3010s as a director for a charity, but never on behalf of a charity, so any tips to streamline this would be much appreciated!

I use the T3010 software; I wouldn’t do without it and yet for the few returns I do, it does seem expensive. I certainly wish it would be approved for e-filing.

I purchase and use the software for about 8-10 T3010 each year, much easier than using CRA site; even if cannot efile, still worth it to print out and mail or drop off with CRA (Winnipeg tax centre)

It’s a curiosity as to why only two firms…one religious and one (ugh) American…are certified so far.

So is that only 2 Tax Software firms are certified?

It’s even more expensive when I only do one and I was told when I was purchasing that I could e-file 2025 returns, yet I cannot e-file the June 30, 2025 return that I have prepared :frowning:

I just talked to TaxCycle to follow up. It’s coming, but not as an e-file, but as a digital upload via the CRA represent a client account. It should be here by the 20th of December or so. He said they are waiting on CRA approval. (I hope I’m not mis-quoting, but this was my understanding)

That would work.

Hi Amy, you are right, we are looking at getting this out in the next release of TaxCycle. This hopefully is out by the end of next week.

Thanks

Aaron
