Filing date

If one member has a self employed business and they file by june, does the other spouse who owes file in June or by April 30?

They both will have the same filing due date - June 15

Thank you and this is for Canada right just checking.

Take note that amounts owing need to be paid by the April 30th deadline even with the self-employment deadline of June 15th. It’s a very stupid legislation (in my opinion) because it forces us to do most of the work by April 30th to determine if the business has a balance owing! In your case, the spouse who owes should pay her amount owing by April 30th to avoid interest charges.
