Feedback on TaxCycle Seminar Tour

I am considering registering for the upcoming TaxCycle Seminar Tour. For those who have attended in previous years, what was your experience? I am trying to determine if the sessions provide practical, hands-on workflow training, or if they lean more toward a product promo for features like the Xero integration.

Are the sessions mostly for beginners, or is there enough advanced training for an established practice?

Does the material just repeat what they cover in their regular free webinars, or is there actually new content?

Is the full-day session worth the time away from the office for the 5 CPD credits? Any insights would be appreciated.

My Experience was great from many years ago before Xero bought them!

At that time there was a quick bit for beginners, lots more for advanced

And it was local.

This agenda appears to be a lot of sales stuff and how the other products integrate.

But I could be wrong

Would love to go and be able to give you the real story but the closest session to me is 3.5 hours away and I am single mum .. Child care is too complex cuz I would need an overnight.. way too much driving and being in class all day.

The seminar tour this year focuses heavily on practical, hands-on training and updates on TaxCycle’s latest developments.

A key highlight of this tour is that @Cameron will be joining us at all locations to unveil brand-new cloud capabilities. These features will allow your team to store and access tax returns from anywhere and collaborate in real time—significantly boosting your firm’s efficiency. This marks one of our most major product launches at TaxCycle, and we can’t wait to give seminar attendees a first look!

The tour includes six sessions covering a range of topics (more details HERE).

I will also be attending every location—though perhaps with a bit less fanfare than Cameron!—and I look forward to connecting with our customers, gathering feedback, and using your insights to drive exciting product updates in the coming months.

This is meant to be an exciting, return to the original TaxCycle seminar tour style, but supercharged!

Thanks for the details.

So this will be more about new developments, right? Do you know whether it will focus more on personal or corporate taxes, and whether it’s for beginners or advanced learners?

Anything led by Cameron is worth attending, if you think you can keep up with him. even if you don’t catch everything, he is worth the price.

If I can free up the time, I am considering attending, but would have loved for for this seminar to be held in Moncton, NB as it was several years ago.
