Anyone else getting an error on transmissions saying CRA is unable to process the return at this time due to technical difficulties or scheduled maintenance?
It’s April 30th at 9:43 pm central and I’m filing some with balances owing that have finally signed their returns and it is not going through. I am not sure who to call or check with. the EFILE help desk is closed.

I have been unable to file for almost an hour
Same here in NS at 11:56pm.
Fortunately not my problem. Keep a screenshot to show filing was attempted on time.
I got the same error message, but there is no maintenance scheduled on the Efile desk website for tonight.

I just got a T1135 accepted. 5 1/2 minutes late. In NS.
Just filed returns so it appears it is back up and running

Yes, same issue with me. I’m confident any attempts prior to the deadline will be accepted as filed on time. There’s a log of transmission times and attempts.
Oh ha…I fifled my last return (mine!) around this time without problem. I did see some comments on Reddit about Netfile being down too though.
We had the same problem around 10pm. We tried again at 11:30pm and it worked. This was for clients with balance owing.
