I just tried efiling and got an error message that Efile is down for maintenance. On Apr 30?
Me as well…so it’s not just me.
I have a few left to file with balances owing. argh.
Been trying for 20 minutes
I am having the same issue. Been taking screen shots to prove I wasn’t filing late.

Great idea!
I am hoping that if this is truly a technical issue on the side of CRA that they will not penalize the taxpayer especially with the e-file history showing attempts made. But we all know how well that goes with CRA…
yes same error keeps coming
Looks like we crashed the Matrix, they will extend the deadline and I can get the latecomers returns finished

I got the same error message.
keep a screenshot of one failure and should be set. 
worst case, our local MP has always been a great resource and would reach out in that direction (i.e., CRA rolled over a deadline before midnight on the west coast back in the CEWS days and backtracked and accepted returns later)
