If you could improve one of the following, which one would have a bigger impact for you?

  • Improve data extraction from source documents
  • Improve automatic classification to show the document in the right category more often

Personally not as concerned with CRA slips as AFR takes care of most of that and the ones that are not in the CRA record can be just as easily entered in Taxcycle. Would like it to be able to pull in the Payer Name correctly for making the comparison with Taxcycle data. Charitable, medical and RRSP are my most important for your attention.

Agree that data extraction is more important, especially donations/medical, have not had much issues with classification...

Data extraction from medical, charitable ... ESPECIALLY when there is more than one item on a page...clients often tape a few Rx onto a page then scan and send it....this is a nightmare and becomes entirely a mechanical process. Rarely do I have something that is misclassified...more often than not it's just something that isn't very important or voluminous, like Political Donations.
