Charge to help clients get online CRA account?

Hey everyone,
Sorry if this has been brought up before. I’m new here and still learning how to navigate.

With the new CRA rules kind of forcing everyone to have access to their online account, I feel like we as tax preparers are going to be spending a ton of time assisting clients with this.

Is anyone else thinking of charging for this?
If so, are you adding it as a separate fee, or baking it into the price of a tax return?
What about for the people who are not tech-savvy at all and will need extra help?

Interested to see other’s perspective on it.

I don’t charge specifically for the service, however, these ongoing issues are built into may tax prep fee which will be going up this year. I too have older clients struggling with getting online.

I do charge $30 per client for helping them create my account. I try to explain them how can they do this on their own, but if they still want me to help them, then I charge them a small fee, so they don’t waste my time unnecessarily.
