My computer is running Linux Mint and TaxCycle runs on Windows 10 in VirutalBox… Does anyone else use this setup?
If so I would like to compare notes on a couple of minor issues.
Not using virtualbox, but currently testing a remote windows server to use for Taxcycle and QB Desktop and remoting using my Linux desktop.
What issues are you having?
Actually VirtualBox works very well and I have been using it for years.
There is one small issue and probably lies in TaxCycle programming but maybe it is a VB programming probelm:
When filing T4 and T5, I cannot enter the confirmation number in the TaxCycle box and although the returns are filed with CRA TaxCycle shows that the returns are not filed.
So thanks for your interest but I think I will just have to live with it.
VirturalBox updates about two or three times a year and I am hoping that this issue will resolve with one of these updates.
