In the TPP and TPC forms, is it possible to have at the top of the form a choice on which of the two members of the family will make the request? this choice exists in other forms such as the TPD.

Where both credits can be shared between spouses (if both are eligible), a single question wouldn’t cover all cases.
Currently, the credit calculates on the return for the first spouse in a coupled file and you can transfer all or part of the credit to the second spouse by entering the amount you want them to claim of the total credit on the line of the schedule for that purpose (TPC line 96, TPP line 86).
However, we will look at this again to try to make the options more obvious.
