Hi everyone, I’ve downloaded the XML file from tax cycle and try to submit using WAC, this is the error message:
Error: We are unable to process your submission because the transmitter CRA account number given in the attached T619 electronic transmittal record does not match the account number you used to sign in.
Make sure the transmitter number entered on the Engagement worksheet matches the transmitter number used to sign in and transmit the return, as the CRA will validate the T619 transmitter information in the XML file to ensure it matches the sign-in information.
This has been discussed in several threads already. If those answers didn’t help you, I suggest you PHONE TaxCycle support - they will help you figure out if you are simply entering something incorrectly, or if there is a unique problem that requires them to investigate.
Last night I filed my first T5 of the season. Went to RAC and accessed my client file. Carried forward the xml file from 2023 and entered the usual data. Hit “validate” and got a number of errors. All fixable. Trust account number for the recipient cannot include dashes or spaces. Name of recipient cannot include certain forbidden characters. Various blocks for bank transit numbers and recipient account numbers required entries of 00000. Once those were fixed and slip validated, the submission went OK. Saved xml file for next year, saved and printed summary & slips. Printed as usual. Overnight received 2 confirmation emails. Seems OK. A lot of extra shit to work through, but at least it worked. Next set might be a complete shit show.
