Wondering if you can split CCA to have 50% on each spouse? T2125 and T776 are the forms I’m working with. Thanks !
It looks like the T2125 adds capital assets to the spouse so CCA is automatically calculating 50% to each spouse. It does not look like T776 does this unless I’m missing something ?
There is a way to do it. I’ve done it. But I don’t have time to look back through my files, and I don’t remember how (off-the-top-of-my-head). Sorry. Maybe try the TaxCycle online help and/or video tutorials?
For T776 pick partnership as opposed to co-ownership.
