File Storage and IT Services

What do you use for client file storage and IT solutions? Do you have a third party provide IT services? If so, who do you use?

I use dropbox to store client files (free since I was grandfathered in with my 18 GB of storage that I have had since 2009 or so) and have my own inhouse IT service provider - my husband - who is very computer savvy. I can handle most things on my own computerwise but when I run into problems he fixes it. I use Verifyle to talk with my clients and send them files but about half still tend to use email to send stuff to me on occasion or even most of the time despite my warnings that email is not particularly secure.

My data lives on a Synology NAS with two 8T drives. It gets backed up each night to another NAS off-site at my house. Works like a charm and helps me sleep at night. I do my own IT work but nothing too fancy.

Operating files are on an Azure server (encrypted) and backups, also encrypted are with Mastermind Backup Solutions in Toronto. Good, fast, reasonable. I also run a backup “warm” server at Google Compute Platform ready to accept a restore (and have tested it).

Belt and suspenders to the extent possible.
