E-Courier Feedback

@snowplowguy

No, as you guessed, I cannot send anything to anyone via e-Courier without the receiving party having to log in.

As for bankers, most banks are online with e-Courier, but some banks stall have their privacy issues mixed up, and are not able to receive e-Courier on any bank computer… TD Bank comes to mind…

Thanks Bert.

I suppose trying to devise a method of sending secure documents to a recipient who has no credentials, or with no requirement to authenticate themselves as the intended recipient of the document would be a complicated task… and might defeat the entire purpose of secure delivery.

I am going to subscribe to the service, as it seems the benefits for those clients who are willing to learn to use the service are still substantial.

@snoplowguy If you are subscribing for the first time, don’t forget the initial discount because you are a TaxCycle user. Also I have been dealing with Susan and Sarah at E-Courier, they have both been great. Here is Sarah’s email address sarah.cooke@e-courier.ca if you wish to contact directly. Or you can sign up at the e-courier site. Cheers and also thanks @BertMulderCGA your information was invaluable.

This is a great feature, I contacted e-courier and for those that would like to add this new feature on your subscription it is approx an additional $135.00.

Thanks @mjeconsulting . I did speak with Sarah Cook on Monday and purchased a subscription. She also phoned this afternoon with a follow up and demonstration.

I ended up purchasing a basic subscription to E-Courier for $229 less the Taxcycle discount of $22.90 = $206.10
I also bought the “Client Portal Website Integration” (Premium Feature) for $100 - $25 discount = $75
and the “Secure Deposit Box Link” (Premium Feature) for $199 - $19.90 = $179.10

I feel I will get the most use out of the “Secure Deposit Box Link” as it should allow me to imbed that link in regular emails that I send to clients, or as @BertMulderCGA has done, insert the link on his website below the E-Courier Portal for clients that don’t have E-courier guest accounts.

The pricing seems to be jumping around here.

Our local Farm Credit (FCC) office is now cool with e-courier. It took a little persuading, but the manager was quite receptive once his guest account was set up. Funny how attitudes change when the alternative is a 50 page fax … :slight_smile:
