Details of what defines a 30% drop in revenue for wage subsidy

The link posted by snoplowguy says

A special rule will apply to employees that do not deal at arm’s length with the employer. The subsidy amount for such employees will be limited to the eligible remuneration paid in any pay period between March 15 and June 6, 2020, up to a maximum benefit of $847 per week or 75 per cent of the employee’s pre-crisis weekly remuneration.

So I would argue that family members are not excluded.

That would be the best result. Thanks for clarifying.

However, if the employee is paid by his corporation that is paid from an operating company, there is a problem. All of his company’s revenue may be from from a non-arm’s length source and therefore his company would not be eligible for the subsidy since the revenue dip only includes arm’s length sources.

Good to know. Thanks.
