CFA Exam fees

Hi everyone, I did some research on CFA exam fees and am still not certain whether it can be claimed on T1. Has anyone claimed it in the past and did CRA reject it? From CFA Society of Toronto it says “CFA Institute is based out of Charlottesville, USA and as US company they cannot issue the T2202. You can try to claim your exam registration fees and submit through your taxes to the CRA but there is no guarantee that they will accept it.”. Just curious about others’ experience with it. Thank you for your time.

Claim it under the DUES schedule, that is where I have claimed mine. I am an active member of Vancouver society and awaiting my charter approval now.

I was just going to reply with exactly that answer, to record it on a T2202. This has also been communicated in prior forum discussions, so it simply required a few minutes to search through the forum. Glad the TaxCycle help desk was able to assist you.
