According to research… it is non-taxable and the CRA is going to amend the returns… but I am reading that the Alberta returns are not being updated. If you have clients that have not had an amendment from CRA, are you amending 2024 to mark the carbon tax as non-taxable?
CRA is proactive. There is no Royal Assent… yet.
