Try filling in column 1C, item 120, with the foreign non-business income tax paid. TaxCycle should calculate the foreign tax credit. The deduction under 20(12) is optional but cannot be more than the tax paid shown in column 1C.
All country codes are 3 letters long - add an A to US and you’ll clear the error
