I have a client who’s child tragically passed away. The taxable amount of the RESP went into income of course, and there was a direct transfer to the client’s RRSP. I filed it according to directions, in “other deductions.” They have also not given the client said deduction immediately, and I have a PAR. Just looking for some guidance on whether I did the return correctly, as well as how to deal with this PAR. THANK YOU ALL
I believe you should have a T4A and a corresponding RRSP contribution receipt for deduction at 20800.

Yeah I have my slips etc it’s just weird that the CRA moved my deduction from 20800 to 23200. Thank you so much!
