Motorcycle for business use?

A taxpayer is considering using their motorcycle in the summer for business purposes.

It will supplement the vehicle which is used already partially used for business.

The business use would be a small 10-15%.

It is a consideration because they live in a busy city and getting around and parking will be easier.

I have not been able to find anything about motorcycles on the CRA website and the taxpayer will not use the motorcycle for business if he cannot expense the business portion.

Any thoughts?

I ride a bike in the summers and have not had a problem claiming my car and vehicle as business expenses. One just has to complete the auto schedule for each vehicle. Keep in mind though that simply driving to one’s office is not business use unless you do some business in the course of a trip like seeing a client and so forth.
