Client was severely injured in the US last year in an auto wreck (spouse did not survive, sadly). Client spent some days in a US hospital with various expenses…no problems with any of that. One of the kids drove from the family home in Canada to pick the client up and repatriate them for continued treatment at home location. (Client likely, in the absence of children’s actions, would have been repatriated via paid transport.)
Travel expense which is kind of in reverse…creditable? FWIW client is still not fully recovered.
