and how nice that they are starting the 2 months with no GST on Dec 14th - after most families have their Christmas trees, kids toys etc. And I am sorry how is saving the GST on beer and wine going to help families. Utter nonsense. There are many other items they could have chosen to truly help.
Seems like an election is coming. If Trudeau stays on as liberal leader, I pity us. We’ll have our very own Trump. Imagine - 2 idiots on the same continent. Nobody has a plan. Neither party. Like Trump, they have “a concept of a plan”.
Talk about buying votes, here in NS, a campaign worker gave out Tim’s cards for a small coffee, worth $2.07 each, $51.75 in total. The opposition got on their high horse and want the PC incumbent to be disqualified. As the time limit to nominate someone has passed, with the PC candidate out of the way, the Liberals will automatically win. But, use your head. Does anyone really think that 25 gift cards valid for a small coffee is going to sway any voters? My Mom used to tell me that, in the 30’s and 40’s, the “drivers” for the election would have either candy, liquor, or a $5 bill to be given out for a promise to vote for a particular candidate. Account for inflation, and that $5 is suddenly worth switching your vote, but not a small coffee.
