2017: Donation entered into wife T1-2017
Taxcycle used the tax credit on the husband T1-2017 (Husband died during 2017)
Both 2017 returns do not show any (T1-summary) unused donations carry-forward.
Surviving spouse Taxcycle T1-2018 wants to use that 2017 donation as an unused donation brought-forward.
(I have now over-ridden this/deleted on the “Charitable Donations worksheet”)
Since the survivor return is now unlinked from the deceased, I suppose it could have been something to do with the timing of when I did the unlinking, but I don’t know.
