Maybe I’m missing this, but how do I create a capital cost on T2125 for a home office? I try double-clicking field BusinessUseOfHome.M[13] but it doesn’t go anywhere.
Just a caution that you may not want to claim CCA on the portion of the house that relates to the home office as it could have HST and principal residence exemption issues. If you’re just claiming CCA on office furniture or computers, you would just set it up on the normal CCA schedule.
Thanks, this is on a rented space, akin to leasehold improvements. I know I could enter it as a usual capital good with a personal %, but I’d rather have it in the “right place” on the T2125.
Then use leasehold improvements which is the right place on a T2125
