The support payments worksheet in TaxCycle has a box for total amount paid, and another for the non-deductible portion (child support). Does CRA require the reporting of the non taxable child support payments?
Yes, if you are also claiming spousal support.
Required to report total amount paid or recd… less non deductible
For taxpayers with only child support, this is not required to be reported.
