CCA on buildings - default in Taxcycle

Is there a way in options to have “Calculate CCA on buildings” deselected as the default on the T1 T776 CCA claim worksheet?

Can’t check from where I am, but my recollection is that, if you set it once for a building, it stays that way. But I don’t think there is a global default to do so.

In the tab “T776CCAClaim” unclick “Calculate CCA on buildings.”

I assumed OP was looking for a global default - ie set each new file to “no CCA” and reset manually if desired. Currentiy the global default is effectively “calculate CCA always”.

Thanks. Yes I was looking for a global default in case I forget to uncheck this each time I set up a property. I rarely take CCA on buidings and I don’t want to make a mistake and have CCA calculated automatically as that could impact future elections/tax planning, principal residence claims etc. Best for it to ask me every time.
