Two properties, both with profit. Both with UCC’s more than enough to create NIL income. CCA auto-calculates only on property 1, in an amount large enough to bring the net rental to NIL. But that property is sold in 2025 and we don’t want more recapture.
I’d “assumed” that saying YES to “do you want to claim a different amount” on Property 1 - CCA form and setting it to NIL would auto default to the other property claiming the appropriate amount…but it doesn’t. (Even putting $1 in as a plug doesn’t work.)
This seems to be a repeat of the bug discussed here (which was fixed?):
