Canada Emergency Response Benefits (CERB)

How CERB work for international students who are working 10-12 hours per week? And have last year income more than $5000.00. As they are eligible to work for 20 hours per week. But these days because of the consequences they are making less than $1000.0 per month.
Can anybody tell me that are they still eligible for CERB?

No, not eligible as of legislation passed March 25/20.

Maybe, changes announced April 15/20. It is likely that new legislation will be needed.

NEW CHANGES - With the changes (announced APRIL 15), Canadians will now be allowed to collect the CERB even if they still have some earnings, as long as their monthly income does not surpass $1,000.

Caution: International Students may not be resident of Canada.
