Hi Everyone.
A very elderly woman created a corporation for estate purposes, but then hasn’t really done anything with it for 3 or 4 years (including filing tax returns). The problem is there is no documentation on the business number for this entity. Does anyone know what the best way to find out what the business number is? She’s now suffering from mild dementia and this could be tricky. At this point no one (including family members) have authorizations for anything.

Do you know the name of the corporation?
The govt now maintains a public registry of corps, and you can get the business number from there as well as the incorp date if you know what the corp is called.

The corporation could be involuntary dissolved already by now, if she didn’t do any filing
