I have a low income client always late filing. Her husband, who has an almost $100,000 in pension income files on time, on his own,no pensions split. I’m trying to change his 2020 tax return in CRA to recognize the pension split, I’ve tried Line 21000 but the Change My Return doesn’t recognize that line.

Pension split is an election that cannot be changed electronically.

T1 adjusts for both parties need to be sent in along with T1032 forms for both parties signed by both of them.
