# Signing date

Unless I have missed s setting somewhere the signing date entered seems to march ahead to the current date when a file is reopened. I would think once it is entered it should remain static.

EDIT: On further review it doesn’t seem to be all files. It appears if I manually entered the filing date it holds. If I left it as the current date, and then printed or transmitted, on future opening it has not retained that date and has adjusted to current date.

Probably not a big issue but would be nice if it locked after printing or transmitting.
