# Multi page template

Is there a way to create a common header for each page of a multi page template? And automatic page numbering?

No, you can’t do this in the template editor yet. We are looking to do a significant reworking of the template editor to provide headers and page numbering, along with a laundry list of other requests we’ve had over the past year. We’re planning to start working on this in March, but wouldn’t release any change to the template editor until after this tax season.

Thanks for the reply Cameron. I don’t need the header this tax season so if it’s in the works for next season, that’s fine with me. November or so is when we could make use of it.

Any update on this topic? I’ve been hunting through the template documentation and haven’t found anything.
