Just FYI, I have called the business line multiple times in the last two days (just want to make sure the information is correct), they say that they will no longer help client whos SIN start with 9 to open an HST account. They have to call the International line, which the agent there told me they have to use the online portal or file the traditional RC1 form.
This is something new as I was able to help a 9-SIN open an HST account via the business line a few weeks ago.
