# Has anybody stopped using TaxFolder

Has anybody who has been using TaxFolder for some time decided to stop using it and switch to another provider?

If so, what happens to the data stored on TaxFolder?

Hi Cory, thanks for the question around data retention. We keep the data for a minimum of 7 years should you need it after ending your subscription of TaxFolder. Let me know if you have any more questions!
