# Efile rejected due to capital reserve?

The client sold QSBC shares in 2022, claimed reserve in 2022 and 2023 and we’ve done the same for reserve in 2024 - same info is completed on T2017 and S.3. However, we have an efile rejection that lists possible errors related to different line items on T2017 - all of which do NOT apply in my situation. Is anyone aware of this efile issue for 2024?

Hi,

We are aware of this issue, and have already sent this case off to the CRA. We hope to have a resolution for this soon.

Once we do, I will update you here accordingly.

We noticed a Taxcycle communication that the specific error with capital gains reserves would be corrected by April 23. We tried efiling on that date and they have now gone through so I believe this error is now fixed.
