I can’t seem to open a 2024 T1 file or even carry forward and plan from 2023-2024. I have clients calling and asking for RRSP planning. I called Taxcycle support and they told me this feature won’t be ready until end of Feb! How is that going to work when RRSP deadline is end of Feb? ---

That’s very odd as I have several T1 returns I have already rolled forward from 2023 to do some initial data entry. ---

I have had the carry forward and plan for a while now. Did you renew your Taxcycle subscription and/or update to the latest release? If you haven’t renewed your subscription that may be the reason. ---

Yes I renewed many months ago and I had planning in the fall. I recall already doing several of them. But now the option has disappeared. I called tech support and was advised that it is unavailable until end of February. Is it working for you now? ---

I had the same problem. Turned out that i hadn’t activated my licence. I emailed support and got a reply very quickly. They sent me a step by step solution to the problem. ---

Mine works… but you may have to fix a setting due to carryover into new calendar year regarding license renewal… best of luck ---

Wow thanks for your replies! Finally got it working. I emailed support and sorted it out. I don’t know why I received the wrong info when I called in. It’s gonna be one of those years again 😳
