This problem is a bit above my paygrade…
I have a friend in Calgary that has principal residence, a revenue generating condo and building their retirement home. Him and wife on title. Been some title transfer changes with the house and condo due to helping family member going through a divorce settlement a few years ago then paying out mortgage to get former daughter in law off title (agreed to in divorce settlement).
Parents and adult son need help with addressing the real estate transactions on their taxes over the last couple years. I suggested speaking to a local CPA in Calgary that may be able to get them back on track so there are no complications in estate. I believe properties may be clear title.
