I had a client this year with “eligible educator school supply tax credit” amounts for 2021 but we held off on adding those to their return due to the issues/delay related to Bill C-8. It looks like the bill [received royal assent on June 9, 2022](https://www.parl.ca/legisinfo/en/bill/44-1/c-8) so does anyone know if it is now safe to submit an amended T1 to claim the amount retroactively? Has anyone had first-hand success with submitting an amendment for this tax credit? ---

I submitted a return with a Farm Fuel credit (which had the same issue) yesterday and it was assessed. ---

Thanks for that @jimt; I didn’t have the courage yet. I saw that something received the blessing but wasn’t sure that it included this.
